Independence Day 15 August

Independence Day on August 15th is celebrated every year across the nation. The moment will not only be celebrated in governmental offices, but also in schools and colleges as well. The National Day is followed since 1947.

To mark the 80th anniversary of India’s ‘tryst with destiny’ on 15th August 2026, APIIT SD India celebrated the Independence Day to re-experience the spirit of patriotism and to honour the glorious past of our country. It was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm in college campus. Management, Director Sir, Faculty Members, staff and students were present in the campus to celebrate our independence with pride.

Hon’ble Director Sir Dr.Prateek Mishra, expressed gratitude to the National Heroes for their supreme sacrifice. To honor the sovereignty of our nation he unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and acknowledged the hard-earned bliss of liberty.
