DUMB CHARADES AT APIIT
On Feb 16, 2024 Department of Management studies of APIIT SD INDIA organized a popular and engaging activity “DUMB CHARADES” for management department students at 02:15 PM in the Auditorium under the guidance of Head of MBA Department (Dr Anju Bala)and Head of BBA Department(Mr.Madan Lal). The purpose of this event was to foster team building, improve communication skills, and provide a fun break from academic rigors for students. The event began with a brief introduction by the organizing committee, outlining the rules and objectives of the game. Participants were divided into teams, ensuring a mix of students from different backgrounds and specializations to encourage interaction and diversity. Each team was given a set of movie names to enact without using any verbal communication. The teams took turns guessing the word or phrase being acted out by their teammates within a specified time limit. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and laughter as students enthusiastically enacted various clues while their teammates attempted to decipher them. The event saw active participation from all teams, with each member contributing their unique skills and ideas to their team's success. During the event, Dr. Prateek Mishra, the Director, joined us. His presence added excitement to the atmosphere. He encouraged students to take part in these activities and improve their communication skills. Dr. Prateek Mishra emphasized the importance of organizing such events in the future like Debate, Case Study Competitions which will help students gain confidence and overcome stage freight. The Dumb Charades activity organized by the MBA department proved to be a resounding success, achieving its objectives of promoting teamwork, improving communication skills, and providing a fun-filled experience for students. The event not only enhanced the overall student experience but also contributed to a positive and vibrant atmosphere within the department. Moving forward, similar interactive and engaging activities would be encouraged to further enrich the MBA-BBA student's academic journey.
